I'm Back

Well it's been 8 long months but I've finally returned to the World of Azeroth. I would have started again sooner but I promised myself that I would finish all of my new Xbox and Wii games before I started or I would never finish them. I wrote some reviews of the games I was playing if anyone is interested just click here.

Anyway, as I was saying I started playing again last week. I've been working on the new Argent Tournament Dailies, and am 2 Champion seals away from getting my snowy Argent Hippogryph. I also got one of my friends to join and have been leveling a Tauren Druid. I've got to say druids are pretty fun. As for Emithal I permanently switched to Destruction mainly because of the Awesome power of the Chaos Bolt! And as for raiding I haven't gone on one since I've been back but I'm looking forward to it.

The Reason it's called the "Daily" Warlock

Many of you out there many be wondering why this blog is called "the daily warlock" if I don't write on it every day. Hence the word daily. Well to tell the truth I call it the daily warlock because of two reasons. 1. Because "The I'll Write Whenever I feel Like it Warlock" was too long of a name and 2. Because I thought that if I used the word daily it would motivate me to write more frequently (which obviously didn't work.) So there you have it two very good reasons why it's called the daily warlock.

My Trip to Undercity

For toughs of you that know. Once you've finished all the quests in Dragon Blight you get to watch a cool video sequence in which a battle takes place and all of the horde, alliance, and scourge are wiped out by the forsaken. I recently completed the chain of quests that follow this event . The first of which sends you to meet with the king of the Orcs in Ogrimmar. It's not everyday that an person from the Alliance get's to enter a Horde capital city without being killed on site. Then once I spoke with the king I returned to Stormwind to speak with the king of the humans. The next quest that they sent me on was pretty cool. So we ported again but this time we went to the Undercity which apparently had been taken over by the Forsaken.
So the King, his wizard "counciler" (or whatever she was,) and I walked in to the Undercity and took on the armies of the Forsaken all by ourselves. (It helped to have an invincibility spell cast on me.) And since I don't think I'll ever have the chance of going that deep into the Undercity again I thought it would be a good idea to take a couple of screen shots while I was there.

The Reason Warlocks ROCK

Warlocks are so cool. For one they're great for dps and they have a pet (or minion) to command. It's like being a mage and a hunter at the same time. And if you play your cards right you can take down high level elites without a group. For example, today I did the quest in Grizzly Hills called Ursoc, The Bear God. On the quest log it says to bring a group of 3, but me and my big ego decided to take on this 200k elite by myself, and because warlocks rock I actually beat him! Here's how I did it: First I had my Felguard summoned and my Felarmor active (Felarmor increases your spell power and you regain health faster.)
I let my Felguard aggro Ursoc for awhile with an occasional dps attack always keeping an eye on my aggrometer to make sure I didn't aggro myself.
And with a little time and pacience and making sure my Felguard didn't die I took him down all by myself /pat self on pack.

My First Raid

So the other day I finally hit level 80 /cheer!! Which was awesome because now I could actually play with the other members of my guild. The anticipation of my first raid was a bit overwhelming. Do you remember how it felt to go on your first raid? It kind of reminded me of the first day of school. You don't really know what you're doing or where you're going. But anyway after the first couple of bosses I was beginning to get the hang of it. I even got a couple of epic drops from it. So all and all I had a good time.

When Warlocks Fly

So I was on my flying mount in Northrend doing my dailies when I flew over to the Wyrmrest Temple and noticed that no one was there. Then I checked out Star's Rest and no one was there either.Then the D.E.H.T.A. Encampment and you guessed it, no one there either.Then just for kicks I went to Dalaran to see what would happen and lo and behold no one was there either and even cooler than that, I didn't get kicked off of my mount.

So after about an hour I was kind of getting sick of being the only person in the world, and tried to use my hearthstone but all it did was kick me off my mount. Then something Totally Awesome happened. I jumped and woosh!!! I was flying without a mount!!!!And for my final journey I wanted to see if there really was anything at the whirlpool in the middle of the map. When I got there I was a little disappointed to find nothing. Oh well.
